MANILA, Philippines — “Perfect World” might be associated with game publisher Level-Up! but its maker, Beijing-based Perfect World Co. Ltd, is also dealing with another Filipino game publisher, IP e-Games, to launch a new massively multiplayer online role playing game.

In the latest first half of 2008 financial report of IP e-Games parent company IPVG, the company revealed that Perfect World Co. Ltd has tapped IP e-Games to operate “Zhu Xian” in the Philippines.

No other details about the partnership or the game were given in the disclosure.

- The All Stars 08 Mindanao Regionals is an OPEN Tournament, meaning everyone can join!
- All Active Freestyle Players with existing Freestyle accounts
- Must Register First to join and pay the registration fee of P300 PER TEAM
- Registration fee is inclusive of the following:
- 3 Gamer SIMs
- 3 pcs of 50 LU Load
- 3 FS Baller’s Mousepad

- Registration forms will be available at the entrance of Bruceworld Internet Cafe
- All teams must have three members
- No level Requirements
- No item limitations

- Home court will be determined via toss coin
- Teams that have registered will undergo a single round-robin elimination (single round-robin: each participant plays every other participant once)

- Teams/members of the team exhibiting unruly conduct will be disqualified handing the opposing team the match

The road leading to the Ragnarok Philippine Championship 2008 is getting shorter and the coveted Emperium is well within reach. Different paths have been paved, with each guild following the one that takes advantage of their best qualities: the charisma of the Wild Card, the sieging prowess of the Agit Lords, and the combat expertise of the Regionals Champions. But in the end they all lead to one goal: to prove that they are the best guild in Ragnarok Online.

True Agit Lord
• The four Agit Lords will fight against each other to determine who the True Agit Lord of the server will be.
• The four teams will fight in a 4-team Bracket Tournament. RPC match rules, regulations, and restrictions apply to the teams and the matches.
• This includes item restrictions, job restrictions, etc.
• Each match will be a best-of-3 rounds match.
• Each match will last 7 minutes.

True Wild Card
• The four Wild Cards will battle against each other to determine who the True Wild Card is.
• The four teams will fight in a 4-team Bracket Tournament. RPC match rules, regulations, and restrictions apply to the teams and the matches.
• This includes item restrictions, job restrictions, etc.
• Each match will be a best-of-3 rounds match.
• Each match will last 7 minutes.

Eligibility
• Agit Lords : Your guild must be one of the top 4 Agit Lords Contenders
• Wild Card : Your guild must be one of the top 4 Wild Card Contenders.
• Each participant is only allowed to join once for the whole Tournament itself.

Qualification Confirmation
- The guildmaster must send their line-up in excel sheet including the following details:
- Guild Name
- Team Captain
- Server
- Real Name
- Address
- Email Address
- Contact Number

- Submit your line-up form no later than August 27 (12:00 NN cut-off time) then send it to gm-chastity@levelupgames.ph.
- Accounts will be provided, Username and password will be sent through the Guildmaster’s email.
- Once the line-up is submitted and verified, the Guildmaster will receive a confirmation letter together with the Username and password of the accounts.
- The guildmaster then must send a confirmation upon receiving the accounts.
- The players are responsible for the safety of their accounts. Any hacks, lost of passwords will not be entertained.

Mechanics
• All Matches will start at 8:00pm onwards.
• A team will be called for their turn within 15 minutes, if they do not appear within the allotted time, their turn will be forfeited.
• Lag, human error, or other technical error from the player’s side will not stop the game.
• The Game Masters have the right to stop the match if needed.
• The resurrected team will be given another set of accounts after their first match.

Match-up rules
• The guildmasters of each qualified guild will be summoned by the designated Level Up! GM on August 26, 2008 (Tuesday):
- Baldur : 8:00pm
- Tyr: 8:30pm
- Freya: 9:00pm
- Valkyrie: 9:30pm
- Valhalla: 10:00pm
• A designated Level Up! GM will call upon the guilds one by one, then the GM will roll a die in game (via the /dice command) which will corresponds to the Guild’s number. (even or odd).
• Matchups would be Even number versus Even number, Odd number versus Odd number.
• Ex1.> GM called in Guild1, GM rolled a dice and got 5. GM called in Guild2, GM rolled the dice and got 3. Guild 1 and 2 will be paired for the battle.
Ex2.> GM called in Guild1, GM rolled a dice and got 4. GM called in Guild2, GM rolled the dice a got 3. The GM will then call Guild3, GM will roll a dice and got 2. Match up will be:
Guild 1 vs Guild 3
Guild 2 vs Guild 4

Tournament Rules

a) The tournament will be a 7 vs 7 team match

b) Players may set-up their characters once they have received their accounts.

c) The match will be a have a best-of-3 rounds.

Tie breaks will be determined by the number of surviving members.

d) Any ties after the stated tie-breaker conditions are subject to a 1-round sudden-death match with NO HP or SP restoring items and no High Priest.

The start of a match will be signaled by marshaling Game Masters. Players may start casting buffs during the count down. Use of other skills, on the other hand, is restricted until the marshals give their go signal. Offending players will be given a warning; then on the second offense, penalty will be disqualification from the tournament. The same rule holds for those who attack a tournament marshal.

d. NO repeating classes.

e. 10M zeny will be allocated for each participant to use till the end of the tournament.

f. Item drop and trade has been disabled. Use of Vending skill is prohibited.

g. Here are the lists of items that are available.

h. Special Item Rules: All Assassin Crosses will have 3 Poison bottles automatically given to the character, while all Biochemists will have 5 Acid Bottles and 5 Fire Bottles automatically given. THESE WILL NOT BE REPLENISHED AT ANY POINT DURING THE SERVER ELIMINATIONS.

i. Plagiarism skill of Stalker will be learned through the match itself or while the match is ongoing.

Player Responsibilities
1. Players must follow the rules interpretations and guidelines for play set forth by the RPC Tournament Committee, the Tournament Director, the head judge, and other tournament officials.
2. Players are expected to behave in a respectful and sporting manner at all times.
3. Players who argue with or fail to follow the instructions of the Tournament Director, head judge or other tournament officials are subject to the appropriate penalties as the case may be.
4. Level Up and/or officials of the RPC Tournament Committee reserve the right to suspend or ban a player or guild without prior notice for any reason deemed necessary.
5. The decision of the Referees, Game Masters, and tournament officials ARE FINAL.
6. Level Up has the right to change/delete portions/expound/clarify/interpret tournament rules depending on circumstances as they see fit for a fair and balanced competition environment.

TOURNAMENT-PROPER RULES, PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS
1. The start of a match will be signaled by marshaling Vanguards. Players may start casting buffs during the count down. Use of other skills, on the other hand, is restricted until the marshals give their go signal. Offending players will be given a warning; then on the second offense, penalty will be disqualification from the tournament. The same rule holds for those who attack a tournament marshal.

2. Lag will not stop the clock. Disconnection will not stop the clock. Once a game has already started, disconnection of players from the servers, regardless of their number, will not stop the match. If a whole team is abnormally logged off while a game is ongoing, the team forfeits the match. It is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GUILDMASTER AND THE ENTIRE TEAM TO ENSURE THAT THEIR CONNECTIONS, HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE ARE ALL WORKING.

3. Any event that transpires (including Character kills and fouls) before a match is paused is considered legal.

4. The GMs, Marshalls and Tournament Committees’ DECISION IS FINAL

5. A team is considered to have won the round if they have met the following conditions:
• The team kills ALL members of the opposing team
• The team has the most number of kills after the determined match period

6. CONCEDING – Conceding a match can only be done before the match begins.

7. FOULS:
• Zoning Foul – This is defined as moving your character in an unauthorized area or refusing to follow move orders issued by the GM in-game.
• Skill Foul – This is defined as using skills in the tournament area before the countdown by the head marshal.
• Striking Foul – This is defined as striking any of the GMs in game.
• Technical Foul – This is defined as engaging in any behavior that is unsportsmanlike and includes excessive profanity or violence against property or individuals including the marshals.

Fouls are counted as “kills” on the team, that is, they are subtracted from the number of surviving members of a team to determine the final score.
Ex: Team A has 2 fouls and 6 surviving members at the end of the fight. They will be treated as having only 4 surviving members. - A team that accumulates 3 or more fouls is automatically loses a game -

8. Level Up employees up to the 2nd degree of affinity and consanguinity are disqualified from joining the Regional Opens, Inter-Server Eliminations, Inter-server Finals and National Finals of RPC 2008.

4. General Conditions
1. Entries should be in either live-action or animated format and should not exceed 10 minutes and centered on the theme Rise of the Gaming Gods.
2. Contestants can base their film from any game published by Level Up! Games (Ragnarok Online, R.F. Online, Flyff, Silkroad, Freestyle Online, Be There, Crazy Kart and Perfect World) as long as the film is originally produced and edited by the participant.
3. For background effects/music, you can only use the Rok On album or soundtracks and musical themes from games published by Level Up! Games as your source. Originally-created music and score are permitted.
4. Movie files should preferably be in .avi or mpeg format.
5. Movie files like .avi should have a resolution of not less than 1024×768.
6. Entries can be in either Filipino or English. Entries in Filipino should contain English subtitles.

Yet his wanderings took its toll on the Foreigner—carrying a huge sack of other wordly goods and trekking the Land is no joke—and he still has a long way to go. His food and drink nearly running out, he has no friend to turn to in this strange yet fantastic land. With quite some way to go, would you, Path-seeker, help him?

THE NBA video game series from Electronic Arts Sports may perhaps be the most popular sports title in the Philippines. iPlay, the casual games joint venture of e-Games and TV company GMA, is taking the title even further to the online gaming market.

iPlay invited technology and gaming journalists to attend the launch of NBA Street Online, which is reported to be the first massively-multiplayer online sports game of EA’s Canadian development branch.

Details have been withheld until the local launch date but from what has been gathered, EA co-developed the game with a Korean firm, Neowiz.

One Taiwanese company, Gigamedia Limited confirmed in July that it will be distributing the game in China. The existence of the game has only been confirmed through press releases though EA’s official sites have not disclosed the game.

Nonetheless, the NBA Street franchise is well-known game for the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube, with the latest console version, NBA Street Homecourt, to be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation3.

The console game versions are all three-on-three multiplayer basketball games that are set in public courts, thus the name.

Not surprisingly, NBA Street Online could compete directly with Freestyle Online, the first online basketball game in the Philippines distributed by e-Games rival Level-Up! which is also a three-on-three game played on public basketballs courts.

Revenge of the Jade Throne

The prophesied meeting of the Sons of God has arrived.

It has been told that in time of great need, when the chosen ruler falls by the hands that guide him, the Soulless shall gather and make terrible war upon the children of Pangu.
Its has been foretold that when that time comes, the Sons of God will return to put into motion the awakening of the Elder Gods to help defend against the Soulless Horde.

The 3 Sons of God have awakened and have met on the war ravaged fields of the Desert Sea. Weakened by the death of the Jade Emperor, Justice, the 3 relied on the valor of the Clans to help them reach the meeting place where they will set into motion the awakening of the Elder Gods.

Much to their dismay, one of their brothers failed to show up for the gathering and with their weakened state, they could not use their Godlike powers to locate him.

With the War between the Clans hampering any preparations for defense against the Soulless, the 3 are faced with a tough choice.

Buy more time by finding a new Chosen One to replace Justice to restore the link to their power and unite the land against the Soulless Horde, or leave the people to fend off the Soulless Horde on their own and seek the missing Son of God to continue the Awakening of the Elder Gods and destroy the Soulless once and for all.

Choosing to arm the people of Pangu against the Horde first, the 3 decided to answer the call of a young General who shows much promise of becoming the next chosen ruler of the land.

Realizing that they need an army to take the throne and unite the Clans, the 3 suggested to the General that he build his army by holding a competition of arms, by doing this, he is ensured or getting the bravest and most competent warriors in the land.

Eligibility: All Heroes of Serpent Server are eligible to join this event.

Brawl Schedule:
August 27 – 8pm to 10pm
September 16, 17, 18 and 23 – 5pm to 7pm

Mechanics of the Competition
• No level requirement
• This is a Free for all battle.
• Survival mode
• Any class will do
• Only 8 Players should be left standing.
• GM will send a notification in game to all players 30mins before the battle
• Everyone should go to the designated area before the 30mins is up.
• At the end of the 30min period, all players in the arena automatically qualifies for the event.
• The gates to the area will be closed off by summoned monsters. These will act as bouncers to prevent nuisance players.

Rules of the Brawl
• Entrances will be blocked with summoned monsters to prevent nuisance players or watchers from interfering while the match is ongoing
• Match will end when there are only 8 players remaining.
• Signal for match start: GO!
• Signal for end of match: HANDS UP!
• Players cannot move or attack anyone while no signal to start the battle has been given. A player who breaks this rule automatically gets disqualified from the battle.
• Out of bounds, players are not allowed to step outside the arena. If this rule is violated, player will be automatically disqualified from the tournament.
• Combat pets, mounts, and flying are allowed.
• Once the battle has started, all disconnected players will be considered out of the tournament. There will be no restarts.
• Hitting a gm is considered a violation. Gm will only give out 1 warning. 2nd violation will cause DQ on player.
• All items and skills found in game can be used. No holds barred.
• Battle will not end unless 8 players remain.
• Players can party up inside the area if they wish to do so. Partying may only be done in the area
• Violators of the mandate of heaven will be suspended.
• GM`s decision is final.

MANILA, Philippines — Singapore-based video game distributor New Era Digital Interactive Media Inc. is refreshing its business in the Philippines in measured steps, as it prepares to introduce two online games in the coming weeks.

The company is also preparing to launch two “huge titles” that will target gamers in Internet cafes, the company said.

Allan Carbonell, newly appointed New Era Digital Interactive Media country manager, told hackenslash that the company will introduce the virtual social networking game Habbo, owned by Finnish firm Sulake Corporation, soon.

The game, which plays like the first Philippine online game OZWorld, uses configurable avatars to represent account owners. Players can open their own pages called Habbo Homes and customize these with widgets, stickers and backgrounds. They can also form group pages where members can lounge.

Just like any other social networking sites, Habbo has “virtual hotel rooms” where players can communicate with other avatars.

Habbo is touted as one of the most popular social networking sites. It has over 100,000,000 registered users worldwide with 9.5 million unique visits per month. Most users are between 13 and 18 years of age.

Carbonell said New Era will distribute and promote the game in the Philippines but the game will be hosted in Singapore.

“By September we’re introducing prepaid cards for players of Habbo. These will be in denominations of P50 and P100. These will allow them to buy items and virtual furniture but the game itself will be free-to-play,” he said.

Apart from Habbo, the company will also distribute boxed online game, called “Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures,” which is similar to online game “Guild Wars” already distributed in the country.

Carbonell said that the company is in the process of opening up an office in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

By September, the company will be announcing two “big titles” that will be available through Internet cafes, though these games will be available by the end of the year.

“New era is coming in measured steps. We don’t expect our initial games to make a huge impact but before the end of the year, we’re introducing these big games,” Carbonell said.

Event Objective:
1. Investigate Ether Platform.
2. If found, kill any threat to your race. Use your best judgment!

Event Overview:
Recent disappearances in the Lure’s Lot area have forced your racial leaders to send scouts to investigate. Even the Callianas themselves, seem to have decreased in number - clearly, they have begun avoiding the Ether Platform.

All contact with dispatched scouts ceased within minutes of their deployment in the area.

No one seems to have any information about the situation. Even your racial leaders, wizened through months of battle experience, have failed to surmise any possible reason.

Are the other races developing a new and powerful weapon? Are there secret experiments being conducted within? They are not certain.

They do, however, have one resounding fear at the back of their minds; one that they hope would be the worst yet most unlikely possibility: The Herodians.

MANILA, Philippines — Online game publisher Mobiusgames started on Tuesday the closed beta test of its latest online role playing game Dekaron, developed by Korean company GameHi.

In an interview with hackenslash, Mobiusgames Marketing Director Eric Roceles said they have already allocated “several thousand” player accounts for the closed beta test (CBT), which was announced in July. He said the closed beta game will be the full version that will test for bugs.

“The CBT will take two weeks, after which the open beta test will start. This will happen for another two to three weeks, then the commercial launch could be in late September or early October,” Roceles said.

Dekaron is largely a 3D hack-and-slash game similar to Mobiusgames’ previously launched title MU Online. It has five character classes (Azure Knights, Sagita Hunters, Incar Magicians, Vicious Summoners, Segnales, and Bagi Warriors) with different skills and attributes. The game is set in a fantasy medieval planet called Trieste.

One of the main features of the game is its Emoti Motion, which allows characters to have different emotions when interacting with other players.

Roceles said Mobiusgames is confident that Dekaron will be a hit among role-playing game players.

On the other hand, he said they are expecting some migration of gamers from MU Online to Dekaron due to its more robust gameplay.

“It can’t be helped but it doesn’t mean MU Online will be gone. In fact, we’re already working on new activities for MU Online. Yet we will still provide the best gaming experience for our players,” he said.

Roceles said Dekaron will also be the first massively multiplayer online game that will be free-to-play. MU Online is still subscription based though the other games under Mobiusgames are already free-to-play. These include the casual games Gong, Gundbound, and Rakion.

MANILA, Philippines — While the Philippines is hoping to win a medal in the Beijing Olympics, a Filipino has already brought home a medal but for a different competition.

Luis Benesa won a silver medal in the Microsoft Xbox 360 game “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock” at the World Cyber Games (WCG) Asian Championships held in Singapore on August 8 to 10.

Benesa beat China, Vietnam and Korea to reach the semi-finals. He was beaten by a player from New Zealand for the top spot.

The 18-year-old Ateneo De Manila University student is the first Filipino player to win a silver medal in an international competition of WCG, and the second overall to win a medal.

The first medal the Philippines garnered was a bronze medal by the five-man team Flow playing Warcraft III: Defense of the Ancients in last year’s WCG Asian Championships.

This is also the first time Benesa competed in an international gaming competition. He was second place in the WCG Philippines competition after Rafael Formoso who will compete in the WCG Finals in Germany in November.

The rest of the Filipino contingent to this year’s WCG Asian Championships did not make it to the final rounds. The Philippine contingent is composed of players for Virtua Fighter 5, FIFA 08, and DotA.

Mike Vinluan, general manager for WCG Philippines organizer eSports, said the group is proud yet surprised that a young player for a new game that they introduced would take home a silver medal.

“This is a step closer to a gold medal. Hopefully, we win one either in this year’s WCG Finals or next year,” Vinluan said.

1. Eligibility & Registration
a. Anyone can participate in the LIVE cosplay. If the participant is a player of any Level Up! games, he or she can also receive in-game items as prize(s).
b. REGISTRATION: Cosplayers will need to register on the cosplay registration area on the event day itself. You may also download the application form (solo or group) or fill one up at the registration area.
Note:

ALL participants are required to bring pictures of the character that they will cosplay.
ALL participants are required to bring at least 1 valid ID and a photocopy of that ID.
ALL participants age 17 and below are required to submit a waiver signed by their parent/guardian. Participants may download a copy of the waiver here.
Group Cosplay participants are REQUIRED to present their script for approval. It is highly recommended that participants email (live@levelupgames.ph ) their script at least a week before the event to avoid making revisions or getting their script rejected on the event day itself.
c. There will only be a limit of 100 participants for the cosplay competition. This goes for both solo and group cosplay.

2. Duration
a. Registration shall be on October 19, 2008 (SUNDAY) on the event venue itself from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Note that there are several categories (see below).

3. General Conditions
a. GENERAL LIVE COSPLAY GUIDELINES
1. The characters which you will be cosplaying should be characters from the following: Ragnarok Online, Flyff, Rising Force Online, Freestyle, or Perfect World. Characters from other online games are strictly not allowed.
2. There will be TWO (2) Categories for Cosplay: SOLO and GROUP (see separate guidelines below)
3. No corrosive or easily flammable substances are allowed. Although you may still use fake blood or confetti, please make sure that the clutter will be at a minimum. This is also for the safety of other cosplayers who will go onstage.
4. Microphones will be provided for the cosplayers.
5. If you plan to carry a weapon, you must conform to the following guidelines on props:
o Real weapons are strictly NOT allowed. If your character needs to have a weapon, you can make it out of cardboard or wood (this also gives you points for craftsmanship!). Please inform us beforehand which props you will be bringing for the cosplay.
o All props should be kept/carried with the utmost caution. Level Up! will bear no responsibility towards any injury as a result of a cosplayer’s carelessness.
6. Level Up! reserves the right to bar the usage of any props that may seem potentially dangerous and/or harmful.
7. No profanity or rude gestures will be tolerated onstage. This convention is for everyone, so let’s keep it clean. You don’t need to be rude to be funny. Anyone who will disregard this rule will automatically be disqualified and barred from entering any Level Up! cosplay event in the future.
8. Level Up! reserves the right to withdraw the rights of participation and/or props should one be found to break any of the aforementioned rules/regulations. Ignorance is no excuse.
9. The judges’ decision is final, no appeals will be entertained.
10. Level Up! may photograph or film contestant entries at its discretion. Entry into this contest constitutes an agreement by the entrants to allow Level Up! to use their likeness/image, etc in any current/future advertisement, promotion, or product.
11. Employees of Level Up! and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity are prohibited from joining the competition.

b. CATEGORY – (SOLO) GUIDELINES
1. A Solo Cosplay participant cannot be allowed to join the group cosplay category.
2. The judges will decide the final winners. A solo cosplayer could win in only one of the four major categories.
3. All participants of the solo cosplay are eligible to win one of the special prizes, including the winners of the four major categories.
4. The criteria for judging will be:
o Accuracy - How close the cosplayer’s costume resembles those of the character he/she is cosplaying (30%)
o Craftsmanship - The amount of creativity given by the cosplayer in the construction of their accessories or props (30%)
o Presentation - How well the cosplayer presented his/her character to the audience on stage (30%)
o Audience Impact (10%).

c. CATEGORY – (GROUP) GUIDELINES
1. A group cosplay participant cannot be allowed to join another group even as a minor role actor. They will also not be allowed to join the solo cosplay category.
2. A group must consist of at least 3 members and no more than 7 members. All members who will perform on-stage must wear costumes from the following: Ragnarok Online, Flyff, Rising Force Online, Freestyle, or Perfect World. Characters from other online games are strictly not allowed.
3. All cosplay groups will be required to do a ‘skit’ on-stage. A skit must last at least 30 seconds to no more than 5 minutes in length. Your group can make a short play, sing, dance, or do a choreographed fight-scene on-stage. When you register your group, please submit the script you will be using so the organizers will be well-informed on what your group will be doing on-stage and advise you if it would be possible to perform them.
4. Microphones will be provided to the group if it is needed, but there will be no background music for your group’s skit by default. You can provide your own background music (In CD audio format. Other formats such as MP3 or MIDI will not be accepted). Kindly give your audio CD to the organizers at least 3 hours before the program starts. Level Up! holds no responsibility towards any inconvenience caused as a result of faulty recording or music medium.
5. The criteria for judging will be:

Server route selection interface will pop up after you have chosen the server and successfully logged-in with correct log-in ID and password. The new server route is called 'Fantasy_3'. Enter the game by clicking on any one of the three routes shown below.

Each server will lead to an independent gaming environment where you can only meet players on that server. If you want to chat, you can only chat to those who are on that server. Your friends list will only show those who play on the same server. Rest assured that most of the other factors will be preserved: There will be the same dance halls, rooms and music choices; you can spend your cash points from the same account on either server, consume scores and items on the same character; the attributes of your character and other related information remain the same even when you switch servers.

The green bar shows how many players are on that specific server route; the amount of players is in proportion to the length of the green bar.

Note 1: A more crowded server means you will have a more bustling environment with many players to mingle with but this also means an environment more prone to lag; it's up to you to choose the server that suits your needs.

In-game prizes will depend on the type of booth the group will create. If the booth is RO-themed, the group will only receive the in-game items for RO and will not include the in-game prize for other games. All you have to do is to dress up the 2m x 2m booth and make your event /activities based on the proposal you submitted.

Groups must submit their proposal regarding the type of activity their booth will be offering. They are allowed to either; sell items or various merchandise (given that it matches the theme of their booth) or engage in their own events that would entertain the attendees of the festival. Actual product samples along with their selling price must be provided to Level Up! for approval.

The proposal should be sent to LIVE@levelupgames.ph with all the necessary information. Downloadable application forms are available here.

Proposals should be sent to LU! on or before August 29, 2008 LIVE@levelupgames.ph email.

Group leader with qualified proposals will be contacted by a representative of Level Up! through email and/or phone.

All qualified groups will receive the [5] Exhibitor’s I.D. a day before the main event.

The group representative of the booth will be the one responsible for the dissemination of prizes to their members who will participate in their booth’s activities. LU! will not be held liable if one of the group representative’s members did not receive their share of the prize.

Qualified entries must adhere to all the rules and regulations that Level Up! will be imposing on the event date including ingress and egress schedules, policies set by the event organizers and the administration of World Trade Center and the like.

Illegal Substances
1. The use of illegal substances (alcohol, drugs, etc.) by any participant is strictly prohibited;
use of said items will result in:

A. Immediate disqualification from the tournament
B. Removal from tournament grounds

General Event Guidelines

1. LU! Live is open to all Level Up! Gamers and Enthusiasts.

2. Everyone must comply with the security measures and registration procedures for the event upon entry.

3. Everyone will be subject to security checks and all bags and packages shall be subject to inspection. Non-compliance will be grounds for denial of entry into the event area.

4. The following items are not allowed inside the World Trade Center Level Up! Live Event: Bottles, Cans, Guns, Knives, Laser Pointers or Pens, Illegal Drugs, as well as items capable of producing a flame (lighter, matches, candles, firecrackers, etc.) . This rule also applies to the hotel.

5. The World Trade Center and the Organizers will not be liable / responsible for your lost or damaged property. Make sure to take proper care of your property and personal belongings at all times.

6. Observe Proper Dress Code. No slippers and sandos allowed within the event area.

7. Anyone intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will be denied entry.

8. Strictly NO SMOKING inside the World Trade Center.

9. Absolutely no throwing of any item of any kind inside the LU! Live! Event. Those who are caught shall be escorted out of the event premises

10. In case of Medical Emergency, please call the attention of any of our LU! Live Marshals or proceed to the First Aid Station near the entrance. In case of Emergency, file orderly and calmly towards the Emergency Exit Gate nearest you. Follow the instructions of our marshals and ushers so that everyone may exit safely.

11. For everyone’s safety, these guidelines shall be strictly enforced. We reserve the right to refuse entry or escort violators out of the World Trade Center LU! Live Event Venue.

12. Force Majore or Acts or God are beyond the control of Level Up!, the organizers and tournament officials.

Event Proper

Tournament Mechanics
- Teams will be determined on the spot, during this time members will provide the following info:
a. Team Name
b. Character Class
- Tournament will be hosted on the test server
- Maximum of 16 teams per leg.
- Participants will be using pre-made characters from the test server.
- All matches are team vs. team (3 vs. 3) PVP match (class repetition allowed)
- 5 minute Character Set-up.
- Match Type: Best of 3-match series – First to win 2 matches will qualify for the finals.
- Match Duration: 2 minutes
- 2 Minutes Re-supply breaks are implemented between matches.
- Match-ups will be determined on the spot and will be drawn during the briefing.

Battle Arena Accounts:
- Battle Arena Accounts are pre-made accounts available on the test server
- All accounts will have the same armor, weapon, accessory and skill set
- GMs / Marshals will provide the accounts during the tournament

Point System
- A point is scored if they wipe out their opponent.
- A point is scored if they have the most surviving members.
- Ties will result to a point each

Fouls
- Zoning Foul – This is defined as moving your character in an unauthorized area or refusing to follow move orders issued by the GM in-game.
- Skill Foul – This is defined as using skills in the tournament area before the countdown by the head marshal.
- Striking Foul – This is defined as striking any of the GMs in game.
- Technical Foul. This is defined as engaging in any behavior that is unsportsmanlike and includes excessive profanity or violence against property or individuals including the marshals. This will result in automatic disqualification

The Town Guards are talking about it. The Citizens, Merchants, and Mercenaries are heard in the streets talking about the news that the Jade Empire is re-stocking its armory with Helmets and Crown. Rumor goes that Merchants hired by the Jade Warlord will be visiting Auction Houses to look for the best equipments in the land. These Merchants will be traveling across Pangu for weeks to search and buy these equipments.

They come with lots of Yuans on their disposal. So what are you waiting for?

Mechanics:
• Craft your own 3 Star helmet or crown that has either 3 or 4 slots.
• Items must have a “crafted by” prefix. Monster drops who meet the item requirement are not allowed.
• Go to the Auction NPC.
• Sell the crowns at the given Yuan rate from the table below.
• GMs will appear in-game at a random time from 3pm to 7pm to Buyout the crafted helmets from the Auction House.
• The helmets will be bought from the Auction house if it meets the Yuan equivalent based on the table below.
• The GM will buyout the corresponding items base on the exchange table below at the given time.
• You can sell as many helmets as you want.
• When the GM bought your helmet, you will receive a mail in your in-world mailbox with the notification that your item has been sold including the Yuan.

Event Rules:
• GMs will not buy the helmet in the auction house if it exceeds the equivalent Yuan value from the table.
• Items sold will not be returned.
• GMs will buy from the Auction House only from 3pm to 7pm and it’s by random. So make sure your crafted helmet is in the Auction House on the given time. (3pm to 7pm)
• There’s no maximum numbers of participants.
• If it’s 7pm already and the GM was not able to buy your helmet, check the table if it meets the exchange rate or keep it for the coming Lucky Star for your server on the scheduled date of event.
