3. Both teams will be given 5 minutes to fix all their game settings and configurations
4. A game room will now be created by a member of one of the 2 playing teams. (This would be determined thru toss coin on who shall be the one to create, and also the side to be played).

DISCUSSION

This video focuses on the main characters in the game and shows off some of their special moves and abilities. From what I've seen so far on this video, I think I will likely to try out Viper first since she's the most interesting of the 3 new ones. Besides, she can go all out with Chun-Li one-on-one, very interesting indeed. ^_~

Note to viewers: Turn up your volume to enjoy the remixed version of the original Street Fighter 2 Soundtrack in the video. Don't mind the intro commentary. Yea, I know it sucks. Who is this guy and what was CAPCOM thinking? LOL.

I think the most interesting feature that the home versions will have that's not included in the arcade version, are more characters and online play. Yes, I said it right. Online Play. Though its still unclear how CAPCOM will implement online play, the possibility of PC vs PS3 or PS3 vs XBox 360 makes this the most anticipated game for Street Fighter fans worldwide. I know I'm excited. ^^

Granado Espada: New Treasures

Posted by Admin On 12:00 PM 0 comments

Fashionista’s Chest – A costume box for the stylistically inclined. The crown jewel of this random box is the “Horn of Baphomet”, a back fiery back costume that makes the Diablo jealous.

Nothing says “Don’t Mess With Me” like two giant, spiky flaming horns coming out of your… back.

Artists’ Trove – A random box suited for those with gentle tastes. Lucky Pioneers may take home the beautiful Fairy Wings, a stunning and unique accessory.

Shimmering, spread, yet somehow still subtle, these wings are sublime.

Knight’s Cache – Now it’s on. These boxes were scattered across the new continent by some of the early military camps. Some pioneers have reported finding a fiery Katana in a few of the surplus boxes. The Katana is only spoken of in whispers as it is an Elite 92 sabre with an attack rating of 30.

Never bring a sabre to a gunfight, unless that sabre is constantly on FIRE.

Najib’s Weapon Box – Not many people know it, but Najib Sharif is one part jokester and one part philanthropist. With his gun shop doing well in Reboldeoux, Najib decided to conduct a social experiment with surplus weapons and items from his shop. The result is a random weapon box that may give you the “Nadachi”, an excessively long and thin Elite Level 92 Great Sword with 30 Attack Rating.

The Nadachi: excellent for killing enemies, hanging laundry, or the pole vault.

The items above are quite rare, but all these boxes contain other useful premium items like Level 84 Enchantment Chips, Level 92 Enchantment Chips, Mystic Ambers and other premium consumables!

Also, the first family with a Baphomet Horn and Katana will guest star in the next GE Comic adventure.

So what are you waiting for? Go get some boxes for 330 G.Points each!

Discuss the utter awesomeness of the new items on the official forum here.

Another fine video release from MGSWR Prod.

For me, this may be the best 5 minutes of anime-inspired video of Street Fighter ever. It introduces some of the story behind the upcoming Street Fighter 4 game. I watched this video like a hundred times. LOL.

Next is the best jaw-dropping ink-bleed CG and gameplay video of the game. Showing more of the best moves and cut-scenes in-game. Like the video above, I also watched this again and again and again....

Conclusion: I'm so excited to play this game, I'm almost tempted to pre-order this. LOL.

MANILA, Philippies — Two members of the Filipino gaming console forum PinoyXbox were named the Philippines’ Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVP).

The husband-and-wife moderators of PinoyXbox, Philip and Joanne Ortiz, will join the ranks of 20 other Filipino MVPs, a recognition given to the best Microsoft professionals and advocates.

In a letter to the PinoyXbox forum, Microsoft Philippines Technology Specialist Jojo Ayson said the Ortizes were recognized under the Xbox MVP category, which gives recognition to people who made significant contributions in the promotion of the Xbox gaming platform.

There are now a total of three gamers from the Philippines who have been awarded with MVP titles, Ayson said.

Overall, there are only 42 Xbox MVPs worldwide, excluding the Ortizes, and 16 awardees for the category of “Games for Windows MVPs.”

Ayson said MVPs are given certain privileges, including exclusive access to special websites that feature early releases of Microsoft products, and subscription to software support.

“In the case of Philip and Joanne, it could be game titles or some products related to the Xbox 360,” Ayson said, citing the experience of Rodriguez who gets new Microsoft PC games.

The MVP title is refreshed every year, which means all MVPs will have to continuously update their blogs and forum presence.

“Remember that this award comes after the fact that the awardees have been advocates of Microsoft products. They have to continue promoting their passion for these products,” Ayson said.

Philip Ortiz told hackenslash that their MVP status is a rare opportunity that recognizes their efforts in promoting gaming in the country.

He added that it could be a step towards the country bring recognized as a potential market for Xbox games.

“Perhaps Microsoft would finally bring the Xbox as a product in the Philippines. It may not start with the Xbox 360 but perhaps when the next Xbox comes,” Ortiz said.

Incidentally, a PC gamer, Adrian Rodirguez (Deadaimgames.spaces.live.com), was awarded as MVP for his PC gaming advocacy.

Street Fighter 4 Unveiled

Posted by Admin On 6:00 AM 0 comments

O-M-G! I just saw this video and I can't stop shaking. Slated for release early next year, estimate January 2009, is Street Fighter 4. Street Fighter was the first ever fighting-based game I played and mastered on my Atari (a.k.a Family Computer) system when I was still a kid. I mastered Dhalsim to the point that all my friends refused to fight with me if I used that character. Even my brother despises me for that. LOL. The very peak of my Street Fighter "career" came about when the "Capcom vs SNK" series were introduced to the SEGA Dreamcast system. I was practically invincible with Blanka, Ken, and Cammy. Same story goes, my friends refuse to fight me within the game altogether. Hahaha. So now that Street Fighter 4 will be released for the PC, Arcade, PS3, and XBox 360, I can't wait to get my hands on it next year. Button-mashing here I come. ^^

Crazy Kart Open Beta

Posted by Admin On 8:54 PM 0 comments

I've been playing Crazy Kart on and off this past 2 weeks. It's the first ever casual racing game here in the Philippines. And so far its very fun and addicting. What I like most in this game are:

* Low System Requirements - even my low-end laptops can run this game

* Easy Learning Curve - anyone can sit down, play, and have fun with this game with minimal instructions

* Avatar and Kart Customization - even during the CBT period, there are alot of customization options for players

And now Level Up! has announced that they will implement the Open Beta this coming July 31, 2008. Promising new karts, maps, and avatars...the upcoming OBT will be very exciting indeed!

The game will be inaccessible starting tomorrow, July 28, to make way for preparations for OBT. Can't wait. ^^

Soul Calibur IV

Posted by Admin On 12:00 PM 0 comments

Since playing the first Soul Calibur on my now retired SEGA Dreamcast, I have become addicted to this game because of the gameplay and superb graphics. I continued playing the franchise until the days of the PS2 and Soul Calibur III continued to amaze me with new features, characters, and more eye-candies. Now here comes Soul Calibur IV that's slated to be released on the PS3 and XBox360 platforms this coming July 29, 2008. Featuring new cool moves, more eye-candies, and new characters. Darth Vader, anyone? ^_^ Another feature that I really love with this new title is the Armor Damage. Yes, your characters' armor or clothing can now be damaged according to upper, middle, or lower body. This may be exciting for armor or cloth-heavy characters. View this trailer to get more details and see what's in store for this upcoming release. May the Force be with you. =P

Ran Online: Hoverboard Event

Posted by Admin On 6:00 PM 0 comments

Check this out!

Defense, Attack, HP--name it, we have it! Take note, permanent upgrade yan ha?

+9 Battle Helm 30D +100HP/MP/SP
(Non-droppable, Limited to 1 per Account, Cannot be Extended)

at

+9 Exorcist Ring 30D +9ATK +9 DEF +100 HP/MP/SP
(Droppable / Tradable, Cannot be Extended)
