Disney Interactive Studios recently released Split/Second, an arcade-style racing game, for the PC, PS3, XBox 360, and the iPhone. The unique feature in this game is that it is presented like a reality television show. Players can initiate 'attacks' to the other cars by triggering destructive events within the course itself. The events themselves are awesome and sometimes they change the outline of the course itself.
I like the fact that it has a 2-player split screen multiplayer mode. I can just invite a friend or relative over and have some fun locally. This is now rare in almost all the released games lately. Most prefer the online multiplayer mode. But don't worry, it also has an online multiplayer for up to 8 players.
Good racing games for the PC has trickled in the past year or so. The last racing title for the PC that I truly enjoyed was Grid. I highly recommend this game for all racing fans! I'm gonna pick a copy this weekend :) Enjoy the trailer below.
