I fondly remembered the day when our Sega Dreamcast console was delivered to our house on a weekend. After weeks months of saving up our extra allowances from school, me and my brother finally decided to order the console online. The package came with 10 free games, an extra controller, and 2 memory cards doubling up as vibration packs. In the next few weeks, we purchased two more controllers so that friends and relatives can join in on the fun. It was pure bliss with titles like Crazy Taxi, Power Stone, and Virtua Tennis. Our collection grew until it looked somewhat similar with the picture on the left :). That was until Sony Playstation came and ruined the party. T.T

Anyway, Dreamcast fans would be happy to know that Sega announced the return of Sega Titles as digital downloads for both the PS3 and XBox 360 consoles starting with Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi...

“The Dreamcast is fondly remembered by a large community of dedicated fans as a console that was ahead of its time in terms of graphics, quality and online gaming” commented Haruki Satomi, VP of Digital Business at SEGA of America and SEGA Europe. “There are few things that are more requested from us than making Dreamcast classics available for download in today’s digital market place. We’re very excited to begin offering gamers our beloved Dreamcast titles again on the current console systems.”

Since I am a proud owner of a PS3 system, I am very excited about this news. Both games will be displayed on the upcoming E3 at Sega's booth. Cheers! :)
