We would like to inform you that it’s official – Level Up! is merging the three (3) subscription servers, Baldur, Tyr and Freya into one. This new server will be called New Chaos and will mark a new chapter in Philippine Ragnarok Online.
The merge will happen sometime this November. Level Up! is just finalizing the details and exact schedules. In the meantime, here’s what you and your guildmates need to know.
1. Complete Mechanics - like what they did before, Level Up! will publish and announce all the details soon so that you know how to log-in and have all the information about your merged accounts. Details such as similar names and others will be covered there. Konting intay na lang po.
2. What’s in store after the merge? – Of course, the Agit Siege will be more exciting! A merged server means a lot more players, guilds and competition. The RO team has lots in Agit and PVP based events (in fact, Level Up! plan to make the web-based agit scoring permanent and reward those guilds who consistently top the charts). Time to call back all those old friends and guildmates. You’ll need all the help you can get.
3. What about the price? – New Chaos will still be subscription. But don’t worry, they’re slashing off the subscription rate as a bonus for all of the loyal pRO players. They will announce the new rates soon. And yes, item mall discounts and bundles will be available for everyone to enjoy.

The online game business in the Philippines is heating up with online game publisher Level Up! leading the pack with a triple-treat launch of games.
During the recently held Level Up Live! gaming convention, the company announced that it will be carrying the games Hello Kitty Online, Emil Chronicle Online, and Rohan Online.
However, no further details have been provided as to the dates of the start of the beta testing and commercial launch of the games.
Level Up! Multimedia Head Joey Alarilla told INQUIRER.net they will be releasing new information about the games for the local market very soon.
Level Up! had previously launched two other games this year, Crazy Kart and Grand Chase, both of which are targeted at much younger players.
Hello Kitty Online, developed by Sanrio Digital, can also be considered as a casual game due to the use of the popular Japanese toy line of the same name. As such, it mostly focuses on resource collection and social interaction rather than battles.
Nevertheless, Hello Kitty Online is categorized as a massively-multiplayer online game.
Meanwhile, Emil Chronicle Online is another MMORPG and is developed by Headlock. It also has resource collection elements but also focuses on battles. There are a total of 12 classes from three races that can be chosen as playable characters in the game.

MANILA, Philippines — Game publishing company Asian Media unveiled a new casual game that will be the company’s first free-to-play.
Asian Media sealed a partnership with Korean game developer NCSoft to launch the game Exteel in the Philippines.
The game is an anime-themed, third-person shooter. Players control “mechanaughts” or armored robots over huge futuristic maps.
The mechanaughts can be armed with various weapons including swords, spears, submachine guns, rifles, rocket launchers, among others.
The mechanaughts’ features can also be customized with booster packs, body armor, and even warpaint.
Despite Exteel being identified as a casual game, its graphics can be compared to many hack-and-slash type online games. Exteel requires a minimum 800 Megahertz processor, 256 megabytes of memory and a 128 Mb videocard.
In an interview, Asian Media Chief Operating Officer Ronald Allan Aquino said they might start closed beta test of the game in Singapore, the Philippines and Malaysia by the first quarter of 2009.
He also explained that the decision to go free-to-play was due to the huge market for such games. In contrast, Asian Media started out selling boxed games and pay-to-play of Lineage II.
For now, Aquino said the local website for Exteel is still being developed, though enthusiasts can visit the game’s official site.

Thailand is Ragnarok World Champion

Thailand remains the undisputed champion in this year’s Ragnarok Online World Championships (RWC).
Thailand is followed by South Korea and Indonesia in second and third place, respectively.
The Thai team is composed of Ratchasak Kanchanasapha, Mana Pattharavilaloet, Minlawat Tararuthai, Somporn Sinsanguan, Hatsakan Santitaweechai, Ekkasit Nimket, and Narin Sukwisutthichot.
This is the second time the Thai team won in the RWC. They won in last year’s RWC held in their home country.
The event was held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. The RWC is held in parallel with Level Up Live!, the annual gaming convention of game distributor Level Up!
Level Up! Is also the distributor of Ragnarok Online in the Philippines.
The Bozanian Beastfighters who represented the Philippines fell to fourth place.
It is also the same team that represented the Philippines in the Ragnarok World Championship 2007, held in Seoul, South Korea. The team took third place against 10 other countries.
There were 12 teams from 21 participating countries. These included Korea, Philippines, Japan, Thailand, Brazil, Indonesia, Russia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, and Austria.

MECHANICS:
Server: Internal Test Server
1. All terms and conditions of IAHGames Passport apply. This tournament is open for the test server only.
2. Each team will consist of 2 players. Players are not allowed to join multiple teams. Players found to be in multiple teams will have their teams immediately disqualified.
3. Players from each team will be using the pre-made accounts set by the Game Facilitators. They can choose their own MCC team/set of characters from the said account.
4. Each team/player will be using only the consumables provided by the Game Facilitators.
5. Players are to meet at the City of Auch – PvP Officer 10 minutes before the tournament starts.
6. There will be an allotment of 10 minutes for preparation and 5 minutes for the match.
7. Once the 5-minute time is up, it’s hands-off-the-keyboard. Any player with hands on the keyboard will automatically be disqualified.
8. The team to successfully exterminate all 6 characters of the opposing team will be pronounced the winner for that match.
9. In case of a “draw,” both teams will be required to play a “sudden death match.” Players are not allowed to change their character setup. First team to score a character-kill will be the winner of the match.Warnings will be given for team displaying unsportsmanship behavior or not abiding by the rules and/or listening to the GMs/marshals.
10. There will be disqualifications on the team who will receive 3 warnings and/or exploitation of any bugs and intentional disconnections during the match.
11. In case of system failures or disconnections, inform the marshals as soon as possible. If any players are disconnected before any engagement is made, the match will be restarted. The marshal is also responsible and monitor the match at all times in cases like this one.
12. Tournament Winners per area will have a chance to fly in to Manila for the Granado Espada National Tournament in Domination III.

Videogame Delayed Over Possible Offense to Muslims

One of the most eagerly-anticipated games in the history of the Sony PlayStation has been delayed because of concerns some of the background music may offend Muslims, the game’s developers said Monday.
LittleBigPlanet, in which gamers can customize the rag-doll protagonist Sackboy and allow it to roam through an interactive world filled with different challenges, had been hailed by video games website IGN as “nothing short of astounding” and given a review rating of 9.5 out of 10.
But its release date has been put back after one of its background music tracks, a song by Mali-born artist Toumani Diabate, was found to have included expressions from the Koran, which could be interpreted as an offense to Muslims.
“We’re sure that most of you have heard by now that one of the background music tracks that was licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Koran,” a statement on the game’s website read.
“We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense this may have caused.
“We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27.”
According to a separate statement on the website of Media Molecule, the British-based developers of LittleBigPlanet, they were “shell-shocked and gutted” by the delay to the game’s release.
“We learnt… that there is a lyric in one of the licensed tracks which some people may find offensive, and which slipped through the usual screening processes,” the statement read.
“Obviously MM and Sony together took this very seriously. LBP should be enjoyable by all.”
A post on a Sony public Internet forum alerted developers to the issue, noting that Diabate’s “Tapha Niang” included two expressions from the Koran that could cause offense to Muslims.
The forum user, who identified himself only as “yasser”, said that “Muslims consider the mixing of music and words from our Holy Quran deeply offending (sic),” in a post on Thursday.
The delayed release was welcomed by some Muslim commentators, with Manzoor Moghal of the Muslim Forum think-tank telling the BBC that the game’s developers should be praised for “taking decisive action by withdrawing these games immediately, and releasing a version that is not offensive to Muslims.”
Sony was forced to apologize in June 2007 when it emerged that one of its video games, “Resistance: Fall of Man”, featured a violent shootout inside a building that resembled an Anglican cathedral in Manchester, northern England.
The news was condemned by Anglican leaders, who demanded that the game be removed from store shelves, a request Sony refused.
In 2005, the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed, deemed blasphemous in the Islamic world, in a Danish newspaper sparked outrage and violent protests in several countries.
The caricatures were then reprinted earlier this year by several other Danish newspapers.

1. This battle with GM event will be held in the server Fantasy 3.
2. GM will announce the event starts before create a battle room. Please pay attention to the in-game broadcast.
3. GM will create a battle room named “battleGM” for each round. Players are allowed to join this event by click the "battle" button on the upper right corner.
4. The FIRST 7 players who enter the battle room for this event will win the participation prizes(Dinosaur Egg ×10)
5. GM will run a round of battle dance when the room is full. Dance mode: Individual Synchronized; all songs will be randomly generated by the system.
6. When the battle room is full, any players who fail to switch to the 'Ready' mode will risk being kicked out by GM.

Startup Rolls Out Ad-Wrapped Mobile Gaming Service

Filipino-owned company Ubersoft Inc. has started offering an advertisement-wrapped mobile game download service called Swoopin.
The service allows users to download as many free mobile Java games as they want to their mobile phones via Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) and only pay for the corresponding phone network fees.
The ad-wrap feature will become available whenever mobile phone users start playing games.
There are also 850 Java games in 14 available categories ranging from racing, action, puzzle, sports, casino, arcade, among others.
More games are being added every week.
All of the games in the Swoopin website are also available on Swoopin’s Facebook and on Swoopin’s official wapsite.
In an interview, Ubersoft CEO Vince Yamat explained that there will be two to three advertisements showing up before and after a downloaded game is played.
However, the ads will only connect to the Swoopin server on the first and fourth attempt to play.
Essentially, the game is already been paid for by the advertisements.
Yamat said the advertisements will not appearing during gameplay so as not to disturb the mobile phone user’s playing experience.
“Whenever Swoopin games connect to the Internet the charges will be very minimal. Much of the revenue we generate in this service will come from advertisements. What we realized is that the preferred payment for players is free,” Yamat said.
Swoopin will target all markets and not just the Philippines. Thus, initial advertisements will come from foreign firms, such as Amazon.com and Best Buy.
Yamat said they are already in talks with advertising resellers and distribution channels in the Philippines to promote the service.
“There is a huge market for advertising on mobile games in the Philippines. We only need to look for the right channels,” he said.

Event Objective:
This is a “Guild War” type of event for players with high PK. The members of the guild that wins will be all pardoned.
Eligibility / Requirements:
• Only characters with 10 PK points or more can join. glare.gif
Conditions:
- Those with higher PK points are given priority.
- After PK is checked those with higher levels on equal PK points are given priority
- GM’s will decide the team members so that the team match ups are as equal as possible.
- GM’s have the right to refuse an application if the teams will not balance out.
• There are no class/level restrictions.
• It doesn’t matter if a character has a Red Name or not as long as there is at least 10 PK.
How to Join:
• Register at the Flyff Forums Roikan Gladiators Registration page. Place your character name(please indicate codes for special characters), level, class, server & PK points.
• Registration will be open from October 20 to October 25.
• Make sure you are not in any guild from October 25(midnight at the latest) until October 28.
• On October 26, registering characters will be checked for number of PK and to verify that the character is currently Guildless.
• On October 27 the official list of qualified players according to priority will be posted.
• Possible substitutions will be posted as well by priority.
Event Mechanics:
• An announcement will be made triggering the start of the event.
• Qualified players should be online and waiting for the GM’s before the start of the event.
• The Gm’s will summon all qualified players into the dungeon arena
• You should have everything you need before their scheduled time, pots & equipment, once
summoned you cannot go back to town.
• When the announcement triggering the event is announced the GM’s will begin summoning characters according to priority. If a GM gets a “not connected” reply you miss your chance to join.
• The GM’s will divide the teams to balance the players accordingly for a fair match up.
• The 1st 20 minutes will be used to invite the guild members into the guild and the arena.
• Once inside and the teams have been completed, a GM will announce the start of the battle.
• The event ends when all the members of one guild has been killed and has remained lying down or after 30 minutes.
• The winning Guild members must not leave the guild and must be in the arena dead or alive if they wished to be pardoned.
Event Rules:
• The event will be held at Channel 3 of the scheduled server.
• EXP and level/s lost due to PK will not be restored.
• A maximum of 32 participants can join per server.
• Items dropped are free for all. Whether name is Red or not.
• Pets are allowed.
• Participants are allowed to use premium items such as, but isn’t limited to, looter pets, pots, scrolls and skin items.
• Once the event starts and a participant gets disconnected, the GMs will not summon him/her back into the arena.
• Characters that use loadstar will not be summoned back into the arena.
• Characters can get resurrected by the Resurrection skill or the use of “Scroll of Resurrection”
• Participants can behave any way they choose, as long as they do not violate any of the specified event rules, or any of the netGames/Level Up! gaming policies.
• Participants who violate any of the specified rules or any of the policies will risk being kicked or banned.

May sorpresang darating ngayong October 22. Isa na rito ang pagdating ng cute na cute na Moon Bear na dadalaw sa RAN para mamigay ng Moon Lamp Headgear at Moon Bear Costumes! Basahin ang kwento at alamin kung paano!
Panahon na naman para sa Thanksgiving Feast ng mga diyos sa kalangitan. Ngayong taon, naatasan si Luna, ang diyosa ng buwan, na i-decorate ang hardin ng mga diyos kung saan gaganapin ang Thanksgiving Ball. Dahil sa likas na katamaran ni Luna, naisip n’yang utusan ang kanyang alagang oso na gawin ang kanyang trabaho. “Inilagay ko ang liwanag ng buwan sa mga lamparang iyan. Isabit mo sila sa bawat sulok ng hardin bago magsimula ang Thanksgiving Ball,” ang bilin niya sa kanyang alaga. Agad na sumunod ang oso pero dahil hindi pa s’ya nakakarating sa hardin ng mga diyos, sinundan n’ya ang unang daan na kanyang nakita. Ang hindi n’ya alam, daan yun papunta sa mundo ng mga tao.
Ilang araw na lang bago ang Thanksgiving Feast pero hindi pa rin bumabalik ang oso. Dahil sa pag-aalalang baka tinakasan ng oso ang trabahong ibinigay n’ya rito, inutusan ni Luna ang kanyang bantay para hanapin ang kanyang nawalang alaga.

GADGETS Magazine Editor John Nieves will head to Hong Kong at the end of the month to represent the Philippines in the first Intel Asia PC Gaming Showdown, which is a competition open to gaming journalists and amateur gamers.
Nieves will be facing off against game journalists from Thailand and Malaysia.
Nieves won the top prize in the Philippine leg of the competition, which pits gaming journalists in three games from Electronic Arts; Crysis, Need for Speed Pro Street and FIFA 2008.
In an interview, Nieves said he has already been practicing on FIFA 2008, the only game that he is not strongly familiar.
“Crysis plays much like most first-person shooters that I’ve played before so it’s easy to pick up and I’ve been playing the Need for Speed series since it came out. Soccer games are more difficult for me because I’m not much into sports games,” he said.
The grand winner of the Hong Kong finals will take home an high-end Alienware gaming PC powered by an Intel Core 2 Extreme processor while the second place winner will be awarded with a Creative Gigaworks S750 gaming speaker system.

· A set of premade characters (Level 170 and equipped with Mithril Set +7), will be used in during the qualifying matches.

· Bluestin Weight
o Qualifications: Character Levels 30 – 80
· Osmium Weight
o Qualifications: Character Levels 81 – 120
· Mithril Weight
o Qualifications: Character Levels 121 – 170
A user’s division will be decided upon their first match. It can no longer and will not be changed as they made their first match. Division Prize will vary depending on the level of the average level of all the participants in the finals.
Requirements
· All tournament participants need to be a member of the CABAL Club. Membership costs 50 pesos / mo.
· He/she will be qualified on a division depending on his highest level character declared.
· He/she should not be banned. If he/she is, then he should avail of the bail.
· If he/she is permanently banned though. He/she cannot join the event.
Event Proper
· In every area, we’ll be targeting 6 iCafes.
· 3 will be used for Free Plays and 3 for the Tournament
· For each of the iCafes, 4 teams will be allowed participate in each of the 3 divisions. A total of 12 teams per café and 36 per area.
· At the end of the iCafe level tournament, each of the 3 Tournament iCafes will have 3 winning teams from each division and a total of 9 in the area.
· All 9 teams will compete in the Mall tournament in that area. At the end of the tournament, there will be 3 teams to represent the area for each division.
· Come domination, all 18 teams from 6 areas and 3 divisions will complete.

WCG Philippines Starts Gaming League

MANILA, Philippines — While waiting for the upcoming World Cyber Games Finals in Germany, the organizers of the WCG Philippines tournament has started the WCG League in an effort to spur continues training of gamers hoping to get into the annual WCG Finals, local organzer eSports said.
The WCG League starts on October 18 and will be held at the Cyberzone of the SM Mall of Asia.
For now, two games will be highlighted and both are for the Microsoft Xbox 360. These are Guitar Hero III (GH3) and Soul Calibur IV (SC4).

MANILA, Philippines — While waiting for the upcoming World Cyber Games Finals in Germany, the organizers of the WCG Philippines tournament has started the WCG League in an effort to spur continues training of gamers hoping to get into the annual WCG Finals, local organzer eSports said.
The WCG League starts on October 18 and will be held at the Cyberzone of the SM Mall of Asia.
For now, two games will be highlighted and both are for the Microsoft Xbox 360. These are Guitar Hero III (GH3) and Soul Calibur IV (SC4).

Granado Espada PH: Secret Guard
Introducing the new buddy system for all citizens of Granado Espada! There will be two families in every secret guard inauguration. One family will receive all the EXP gained and the other family will receive a reputation reward for every level gained by the first family.
Conditions for Secret Guard
1. There are two roles in the Secret Guard feature, the client and the guard.
2. You cannot be a client if your Family Level is 10 and above.
3. You require a minimum of Family Level 9 to provide the guard service.
4. The guard’s Family Level cannot be lower then the client’s Family Level.
5. You can only maintain one Secret Guard family at any time.
6. The family ending the contract will not be able to request for the Secret Guard for 24 hours.
Effects of the Secret Guard
1. The guard and the client are required to be in a squad.
2. All EXP gained by both families will be given to the client and the guard does not receive any.
3. The guard will receive reputation points when the client reaches certain amount of EXP.
4. The guard has to be in the vicinity of the client to receive the reputation points.
5. The guard will only receive reputation points from the point of initiation. If the guard offers the service when the client is Level 40, he will not receive the reputation point rewards from Level 1 to Level 40.
6. The reputation point reward will not be given again if the character level changes due to loss of EXP through Player-Kill.
7. The total amount of reputation points that can be achieved by the guard is 2688. This is based on the scenario of assisting in leveling for 3 characters in the same client family from Level 1 to Level 100.

Dekaron, the latest massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) from Mobius Games, has finally gone commercial. Mobius distributes Dekaron in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore.
The game was in close then open beta test for the last three months. A downloadable version of the game’s installation client can be found in the company’s website.
Dekaron is developed by Korean firm GameHi. Its original name is 2Moons.
It is set in a magical fantasy world of Trieste and humans are fighting against two gods (the two moons referred it he original title) and demons from the Abyss. The surviving humans are preparing to battle against the might demon Karon.
Players of Dekaron can choose six types of characters, each one having different attributes, weapons, armor and magical items. Players can collect in-game currency called Dil that they can use to trade or buy items in the game.
Dekaron is also one of the few online games that feature graphical blood and gore.

NO, they’re not the infamous beast from Voltes V, a famous and classic Japanese anime about a super robot. It is a seven-man team that won in the recently held Ragnarok Online Philippine Championships.
The so-called “Bozanian Beastfighters” will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Ragnarok World Championships in Manila on October 18.
Members of the Bozanian Beastfighter are Frederick Banaag, Cris John Dimaunahan, Emmanuel de Leon, Ralph Christopher Magbag, Mel Bryan Unera, Jeffrey Custodio, and Miguel Luis Angeles.
They beat the teams Renegade and Demented who were in second and third place, respectively.
The event will also coincide with the annual Level Up! Live annual convention at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
This year’s winning team is the same team that represented the Philippines in the Ragnarok World Championship 2007 held in Seoul, South Korea. The team won third place against 10 other countries.

Mobile Games By e-Games?

MAKATI CITY, Philippines – Online game publisher IP E-Game Ventures Inc (e-Games), mobile application developer Megamobile and 3D animation studio BeeHive digital launched new mobile Java games for the Philippine market.
IP E-Game Ventures is an online gaming subsidiary of publicly listed IPVG Corp., while Megamobile is a mobile application developer affiliated with IPVG Corp.
In a statement, E-Games said it is releasing three mobile games for its 3D massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) RAN Online and another three mobile games for Granado Espada, another MMORPG from famed legendary game producer Hakkyu Kim.
E-Games said these new mobile games were created exclusively for the Philippine market.
Manny Fernando, Megamobile president, said in a statement that e-Games will be one of the first online gaming publishers to bring their gaming titles on a mobile phone.
Fernando said the popularity of e-Games titles are “perfect for the players who can’t get enough of RAN Online and Granado Espada.”
Compared to the online game versions, the mobile games were designed to be more of a “casual and fun single player game,” e-Games said.
The mobile games can run on Java-enabled phones. They can be downloaded via WAP or SMS.

MAKATI CITY, Philippines – Online game publisher IP E-Game Ventures Inc (e-Games), mobile application developer Megamobile and 3D animation studio BeeHive digital launched new mobile Java games for the Philippine market.
IP E-Game Ventures is an online gaming subsidiary of publicly listed IPVG Corp., while Megamobile is a mobile application developer affiliated with IPVG Corp.
In a statement, E-Games said it is releasing three mobile games for its 3D massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) RAN Online and another three mobile games for Granado Espada, another MMORPG from famed legendary game producer Hakkyu Kim.
E-Games said these new mobile games were created exclusively for the Philippine market.
Manny Fernando, Megamobile president, said in a statement that e-Games will be one of the first online gaming publishers to bring their gaming titles on a mobile phone.
Fernando said the popularity of e-Games titles are “perfect for the players who can’t get enough of RAN Online and Granado Espada.”
Compared to the online game versions, the mobile games were designed to be more of a “casual and fun single player game,” e-Games said.
The mobile games can run on Java-enabled phones. They can be downloaded via WAP or SMS.

Online Music Video For Gamers By Level Up!

MANILA, Philippines — In an effort to extend its support for its players beyond games, online gaming publisher Level Up! has activated its Level Up! Music portal that will showcase all of the music albums that the company has launched.
It will also feature home-made music videos of gamers.
Level-Up! Music Portal Producer Sansan De Leon said the site is a teaser to the launch of their music album this year. They have launched at least two albums and a third is expected to be introduced soon.
She said there are about seven videos in the portal already.
“All of the songs in the album are inspired by Level Up! games. Music has always been a part of the games. We try to incorporate some components in the music such as video,” De Leon said.
For the Level Up! Music portal, the main music video feature is Kevin Roy, lead vocalist of the rock band Razorback. Roy is an online gamer and his song is about his experiences with the much-hated Internet lag problem. To this, Roy uses the term “Ampfufu,” a play on a more derogatory cuss, as his title for the song.
Level Up! Multimedia Head Joey Alarilla said many musicians have become part of Level Up! gaming community that eventually contribute material to the company, especially during their gaming events.
Alarilla said other gamers have also been submitting videos to them, which they can distribute to other gamers as well.

THE mobile division of game development and publishing giant Electronic Arts (EA) is already looking to hire a person in the Philippines as part of the company’s expansion in the Southeast Asian region.
EA Mobile has offices in China, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa while its current Southeast Asian office is in Singapore.
The Philippines will become its second office in the region, the company said.
EA Games Sales and Marketing Director for Asia Pacific James Gray said the company is hoping to get a person that will be working with telecommunications providers in the Philippines and to maximize channel partnerships within the year.

Incidentally, the simple block game Tetris remains the most popular in Asia, according to Gray.

He also said that EA expects to be successful in the region, though they still need to set up pricing strategies.
“Would they want it pay-for-play or monthly subscription?” he posed.

Locate the Turncoat Officer leading the massive Turncoat raids in the settlements.
The turncoats have decided to launch an offensive against the 3 races, and the raids are being lead by an officer of one of the Turncoat factions. Many units of the 3 races have already been slaughtered in Elan, and Sette, and they have decided to bring the battle to the settlements.
All intelligence attempts seem to have failed, which means that the faction and mastermind of these raids have yet to be caught and brought to justice.
Event Mechanics:
1. Turncoat mob groups will randomly appear at the racial maps from 4pm to 8pm throughout the duration of the event:
Armory 117 (5) and Armory 213 (10)
Anacaade (5) and Solus (10)
Numerus (5) and Haram (10)
2. Mobs will continue to appear until the Turncoat officer responsible for the raids is found, or until the event ends.
3. During the week, a Turncoat officer can be found CLOAKED in the middle of any of the mob groups at any time during the event.
4. The only way to indicate that you have seen the Turncoat officer is if you took a screenshot of him.
5. Killing the mobs will give experience and is optional.
6. Killing the turncoat officer is optional and dangerous.
7. The turncoat officer will try to escape by any means once found.

Granado Espada PH: World Migration Family and Faction Transfer Guide
IAHGames is taking cautious interest in making sure the world migration only creates the intended positive benefits.
That said, the process of bringing two or more worlds together does present some potential complications, all of which are detailed below. Please read the document carefully to answer any questions you may have about how your characters will be affected by the migration.
Situation 1: Overlapping Families on the Same Account
If, using the same account, you have created a family on more than one server of the same type (PK or non-PK), only one of your families will be migrated into the new world of that type.
For example: If, using the same account, a player has created a family called ‘Familyone’ on the non-PK server of Carracci, and another family also named ‘Familyone’ on the non-PK server of Pachelbel, only one of those families will exist in the new non-PK world of Rembrandt.
IAHGames internal systems will keep the family with the single highest level character, and the other family will be deleted.
Players holding families on different world types (example: 1 family on PK server, 1 family on non-PK server) will not see their characters affected.
Players are highly encouraged to delete their unused or unwanted families prior to the official migration on 7 October 2008, Tuesday to ease transition.
Situation 2: Overlapping Family Names on the Same Server Type
As family names must be unique to each account on each server, it is inevitable that some family names will overlap after the world migration is applied. In the case of an overlap (two different account holders sharing the same family name), the following will be imposed.
* The family with the single highest level character will retain their original family name.
* The family without the single highest level character will have their family name changed under the following format: ORIGINALNAME_ORIGINALSERVERNAME
o Example: A player has a lower level family named ‘Familyone’ from Carracci that overlaps after the migration. ‘Familyone’ will be automatically re-named ‘Familyone_carracci’ after the migration.
* Each account will be credited one free Family Name Change that can be used at the GE Royal Service on the Official Website.
Situation 3: Overlapping Faction Names
Faction names must also be unique on every server. If Faction names overlap after the migration, the overlap will be handled similarly to an overlapping family name.
* In the event of overlap, the highest level Faction will retain their original faction name.
- The other Faction affected by the overlap will have their Faction automatically renamed under the following format: ORIGINALNAME_ORIGINALSERVERNAME
To-Do List Before World Migration
With world migration just round the corner, here’s a to-do list for all pioneers to ensure a safe and stress-free migration!
10 Days Before World Migration…
1. Delete all unused families residing in the same account.
2. Mercenary and transfer characters to another account if you have more than one family on the same account and you wish to keep those characters
3. Transfer items to another account if you have more than one family on the same account and you wish to retain those items
4. Claim all items stored in Adelina’s Booty Chest on the Adelina Booty Search Website
1-3 Days Before World Migration…
1. Remove all items that are currently on sale and being stored by the Market Manager
2. Take care not to activate any premium items that are time-based. (Combat Manual, Lucifer’s Wing, Ancient Territory Pass etc.).
3. Claim all items being stored in Leonardo Expreso (not the Vault).

If, using the same account, you have created a family on more than one server of the same type (PK or non-PK), only one of your families will be migrated into the new world of that type.
For example: If, using the same account, a player has created a family called ‘Familyone’ on the non-PK server of Carracci, and another family also named ‘Familyone’ on the non-PK server of Pachelbel, only one of those families will exist in the new non-PK world of Rembrandt.
IAHGames internal systems will keep the family with the single highest level character, and the other family will be deleted.
Players holding families on different world types (example: 1 family on PK server, 1 family on non-PK server) will not see their characters affected.
Players are highly encouraged to delete their unused or unwanted families prior to the official migration on 7 October 2008, Tuesday to ease transition.
Situation 2: Overlapping Family Names on the Same Server Type
As family names must be unique to each account on each server, it is inevitable that some family names will overlap after the world migration is applied. In the case of an overlap (two different account holders sharing the same family name), the following will be imposed.
* The family with the single highest level character will retain their original family name.
* The family without the single highest level character will have their family name changed under the following format: ORIGINALNAME_ORIGINALSERVERNAME
o Example: A player has a lower level family named ‘Familyone’ from Carracci that overlaps after the migration. ‘Familyone’ will be automatically re-named ‘Familyone_carracci’ after the migration.
* Each account will be credited one free Family Name Change that can be used at the GE Royal Service on the Official Website.
Situation 3: Overlapping Faction Names
Faction names must also be unique on every server. If Faction names overlap after the migration, the overlap will be handled similarly to an overlapping family name.
* In the event of overlap, the highest level Faction will retain their original faction name.
- The other Faction affected by the overlap will have their Faction automatically renamed under the following format: ORIGINALNAME_ORIGINALSERVERNAME

10 Days Before World Migration…
1. Delete all unused families residing in the same account.
2. Mercenary and transfer characters to another account if you have more than one family on the same account and you wish to keep those characters
3. Transfer items to another account if you have more than one family on the same account and you wish to retain those items
4. Claim all items stored in Adelina’s Booty Chest on the Adelina Booty Search Website
1-3 Days Before World Migration…
1. Remove all items that are currently on sale and being stored by the Market Manager
2. Take care not to activate any premium items that are time-based. (Combat Manual, Lucifer’s Wing, Ancient Territory Pass etc.).
3. Claim all items being stored in Leonardo Expreso (not the Vault).

Now you can earn Club (FAM) points by creating a room and inviting your friends to dance in you club’s Club (FAM) channel! After the patch, ask your Club (FAM) Leader to purchase a Club (FAM) channel. Once your club has acquired a channel, create a room and invite at least two (2) Audistas to party with you to earn Club (FAM) points. You will get 1 Club (FAM) point for every person dancing in your room, including you, the DJ. You can use Club (FAM) points to purchase exclusive items to enhance your Audition experience.
That’s not all; Club (FAM) Leaders can now change your club’s name by using the Club (FAM) Name Change Item! So if you have a better club name idea, now is the time to tell your club leader about it!

2. You will enter the dance room for this event if you have successfully enrolled for it.
3. The event is held on only the server 'Fantasy_1' and only six dance rooms will be made available as the 'Arena' rooms. As each dance room can house a maximum of 32 players, only a total of 192 players can be enrolled for this event.
So if after you have pressed the button for enrolment but cannot enter the dance rooms, that means all six dance rooms are full and you can only return for the event the coming Saturday.

Perfect World PH: Moon Valley Party Mode Walkthrough
The Legend of Holy-Moon Valley
The theological war between the gods caused a great cataclysm in the old world. In order to make amends and to find a new home for the people who suffered, the gods set aside their differences and created the new world between the human world and the heavens; the Perfect World.
With the cataclysm came a sharp decline in faith, and the gods were unable to retain their power. In order to regain their worshippers, the gods gathered in a secluded location a gathering they dubbed The Accord of Enlightenment
Before they began the accord, each deity chose a mortal to serve as their avatar . These chosen ones known as the Divine Children were given the task to spread the word on behalf of their patron.
While the legends of the Divine Ones were widespread, no one has actually seen them in person.
The Perfect World has undergone profound changes in the last 10,000 years. The Humans, Wingkin and Beastkin have united to fight against common enemies. The Soulless - who have cast a dark shadow over the Perfect World. The passage of the Accord of Enlightenment went unnoticed during the turmoil, and the Divine Children vanished from memory.
The ancient histories credited the Divine Children with eternal life. They spent the long years in the Four Secret Lands, preparing for the return of the gods.
Thus, when the Soulless invaded, the mortal races have long forgotten the existence of the Divine Children, and faced the Soulless bereft of their help.
The Shattering of the Peace
One day, a mysterious man claiming to be one of the Divine Children appeared. He let it be known that the Accord of Enlightenment was nearing its completion, but a mysterious power has invaded the Secret Lands.
An ancient curse was levied during the creation of the Perfect World. With the decline of faith in the gods, so were the powers of the Divine Children reduced. The return of the gods has been placed in great peril.
The Divine Children are at a loss to find the source of this mysterious power. However, it is quite apparent that whoever is behind this power wants to prevent the return of the gods.
Should the Divine Children fail to return the gods to the Perfect World; the mortal races will face the impending threat alone, bereft of help.
And thus, the Divine Children place their hopes on the heroes of the Perfect World. With the unity of Divine guidance and Mortal ingenuity, the ancient curse may be broken.
The mysterious man has opened the pathway to one of the four Secret Lands, the fabled Holy-Moon Valley . Heroes have begun their journey to this land of legend, to discover the dangers that lurk within.
The Path of Comrades
Wan Luan's Log, 17 th day of the 9 th moon, year of the Rat.
I finally tracked down the source of those rumors about the Divine Children. All of them pointed to Arrow Villa to the south. A poet named Dugukhofsky (426, 457) actually saw the Divine Child and knows the secret path into Holy-Moon.
He also wanted us to collect some detritus from the creatures there. A mercantile interest in a fabled legend, to be sure, yet he agreed to give us the knowledge of the deeper paths in exchange for the work.
(The quest Infiltrate Holy-Moon requires you to kill 5 Witch Figwords in Witch-Moon Valley and 10 Mysterious Ruins in Mysterious-Moon Valley . The quest is available at level 85 or higher and must be completed in Party Mode.)
It is a tedious flight up to Buddha City , the entry point into Holy-Moon Valley . However, the Divine Child who appeared to the people left a transit point in the hands of Flying Sky (427, 457). She was instructed to transport all interested parties to the Divine Child, known as the Yinggan Immortal.
Buddha City
The Guardian of Holy-Moon welcomed me at the entrance, but she was adamant that I should have companions beside me as I explore the Valley. The mysterious power that plagues Holy-Moon Valley has also placed dangers on the pathways, she said, and no one should face them alone.
(By default, the Holy-Moon Guardian only has the Party Mode option enabled. A party of at least two members is required to access the option, and the Party Leader has to begin the quest. Characters who complete Dugukhofsky's quest will be able to access the Solo Mode option.)
Thus I called on the Golden Princess Lady Xiang and her Golden Legion to assist me. With an experienced unit of soldiers beside me, the Guardian obligingly stepped aside and allowed us entry.
Witch-Moon Valley
Witched-Water
The energies around the Valley have shaped the placid waters into a terrible creature. However, as a creature of Water, the monster retains its properties and can be defeated with the proper measures.
Mysterious-Moon Valley
The initial progress was fairly solid, but we ran into an unexpected problem. A secretive rat monster has corrupted the people of the Valley and turned them into ravening savages. Bai Douweng of the South Palace knows of a way to lure it out, but the list of materials we needed to collect was rather extensive.
By this time, however, we had already completed Dugukhofsky's request and had knowledge of the other paths into Holy-Moon. Hearing the materials needed, the Princess ordered her legion to split into groups and enter the secret passages in search of the materials. Lady Xiang entered one passage herself and returned with most of the required materials.
(The Nangong Bai Douweng's quest requires one character to complete the list of materials in order to open the way to the Rat Demon. The material list consists of the following:
10 Blue Soul-Binding Stone
10 Red Soul-Binding Stone
10 Green Soul-Binding Stone
10 White Soul-Binding Stone
10 Transparent Soul-Binding Stone
5 Natural Essence
The Soul-Binding Stones can be found on monsters all over Moon Valley , thus it may be more efficient to split up into smaller parties and enter Solo Mode to collect the materials before proceeding in Party Mode.
Natural Essence can be crafted at the Epherma Forge using 5 Lumber Essence , 5 Damascus Steel , 5 Emery and 5 Refined Coke.
All of these items can be traded, so a party can collect the items individually and then give them to the party leader to unlock the quest with)
While the Golden Legion was gathering the Soul-Binding Stones, I went back to Arrow Villa to collect the materials needed to craft Natural Essence. A gentleman named Wang Xiaokuai (428, 456) approached me and begged me to talk some sense into his brother.
It seems that his brother Wang Dali has run away from home to become the Lord of Mysterious-Moon Valley. While I admire the young man's independence and vision, turning a nation into an autocratic police state is not the way to go about improving the world. It seems that I will have to talk some sense into him the only way he understands.
Heart-Demon Rat
With Bai Douweng's trap set, we lured out the Heart-Demon Rat and put an end to its schemes. Now, to have a talk with the Lord of Mysterious-Moon Valley.
Wang Dali
Deep down, Wang Dali is a sensitive and insecure kid who just needs acknowledgement and approval. However, the point is fairly academic when he is trying to knock your head around three ways to next week. As his brother Wang Xiaokuai said, the best way to get him to see sense is to beat it into him.
Dark-Moon Valley
Dark Vessel
The serene story garden has been twisted into a dark caricature of a forest, complete with carnivorous plant life. The Dark Vessel was once the Lady of the Garden, before being turned to evil. However, being a creature of the Wood, she can still be dealt with appropriately.
Deep-Moon Valley
Ancient Destroyer
Deeper into the Valley, the features of the land began to become more ominous, and its guardians rise from the earth itself in opposition of invaders. In the deepest place of the Valley is the Ancient Destroyer, a representation of the evil that tore the old world apart. It commands the earth of its domain, creating minions to attack interlopers. It has limitless resources and can continue to throw armies against attackers. Still, it is a creature of the Earth, with all inherent strengths and weaknesses.
Fixed-Moon Valley
Entry into Fixed-Moon Valley brought with it a reception committee. It was fortunate that we arrived together, or the ambush would have overwhelmed us before we could rally our forces. The commander of this place has trained his troops in strategy and tactics, and the sound of metal striking metal filled the air.
(There are three mobs close to the spawn point of Fixed-Moon. The party should arrive in sequence, with the tanks spawning before the casters, or the mobs will pick off the party one by one)
Murderous Trooper
An embodiment of the War of the Thousand Years, this psychopathic killer uses its Metal claws to strike hard, and strike fast. A cunning tactician, the Murderous Trooper shifts its method of attack, trying to catch the enemy off guard.
True-Moon Valley
Ghost Child
In the penultimate destination, the Ghost Child barred our path. The unborn essence merged with Pan Gu's will at the creation of the Perfect World given form. It was not the true mastermind of the plan to cut off the gods, but was still a very powerful enemy. The end of the road is close, and with it, the true source of the mysterious power.

Finally, the source of the mysterious power is revealed. This ancient evil (that makes the third Ancient Evil that has been lurking in the history of the Perfect World, but who's counting?) plans to sever the ties between the gods and the mortals of the land, allowing the powerful Soulless to destroy at will. We cannot allow it to succeed!
And so I walk down the Valley in the shadow of Death, and prepare for battle.

(The quest Infiltrate Holy-Moon requires you to kill 5 Witch Figwords in Witch-Moon Valley and 10 Mysterious Ruins in Mysterious-Moon Valley . The quest is available at level 85 or higher and must be completed in Party Mode.)
It is a tedious flight up to Buddha City , the entry point into Holy-Moon Valley . However, the Divine Child who appeared to the people left a transit point in the hands of Flying Sky (427, 457). She was instructed to transport all interested parties to the Divine Child, known as the Yinggan Immortal.
Buddha CityThe Guardian of Holy-Moon welcomed me at the entrance, but she was adamant that I should have companions beside me as I explore the Valley. The mysterious power that plagues Holy-Moon Valley has also placed dangers on the pathways, she said, and no one should face them alone.
(By default, the Holy-Moon Guardian only has the Party Mode option enabled. A party of at least two members is required to access the option, and the Party Leader has to begin the quest. Characters who complete Dugukhofsky's quest will be able to access the Solo Mode option.)
Thus I called on the Golden Princess Lady Xiang and her Golden Legion to assist me. With an experienced unit of soldiers beside me, the Guardian obligingly stepped aside and allowed us entry.

The energies around the Valley have shaped the placid waters into a terrible creature. However, as a creature of Water, the monster retains its properties and can be defeated with the proper measures.
Mysterious-Moon Valley
The initial progress was fairly solid, but we ran into an unexpected problem. A secretive rat monster has corrupted the people of the Valley and turned them into ravening savages. Bai Douweng of the South Palace knows of a way to lure it out, but the list of materials we needed to collect was rather extensive.
By this time, however, we had already completed Dugukhofsky's request and had knowledge of the other paths into Holy-Moon. Hearing the materials needed, the Princess ordered her legion to split into groups and enter the secret passages in search of the materials. Lady Xiang entered one passage herself and returned with most of the required materials.
(The Nangong Bai Douweng's quest requires one character to complete the list of materials in order to open the way to the Rat Demon. The material list consists of the following:

10 Red Soul-Binding Stone
10 Green Soul-Binding Stone
10 White Soul-Binding Stone
10 Transparent Soul-Binding Stone

The Soul-Binding Stones can be found on monsters all over Moon Valley , thus it may be more efficient to split up into smaller parties and enter Solo Mode to collect the materials before proceeding in Party Mode.
Natural Essence can be crafted at the Epherma Forge using 5 Lumber Essence , 5 Damascus Steel , 5 Emery and 5 Refined Coke.
All of these items can be traded, so a party can collect the items individually and then give them to the party leader to unlock the quest with)
While the Golden Legion was gathering the Soul-Binding Stones, I went back to Arrow Villa to collect the materials needed to craft Natural Essence. A gentleman named Wang Xiaokuai (428, 456) approached me and begged me to talk some sense into his brother.
It seems that his brother Wang Dali has run away from home to become the Lord of Mysterious-Moon Valley. While I admire the young man's independence and vision, turning a nation into an autocratic police state is not the way to go about improving the world. It seems that I will have to talk some sense into him the only way he understands.
Heart-Demon Rat
With Bai Douweng's trap set, we lured out the Heart-Demon Rat and put an end to its schemes. Now, to have a talk with the Lord of Mysterious-Moon Valley.
Wang Dali
Deep down, Wang Dali is a sensitive and insecure kid who just needs acknowledgement and approval. However, the point is fairly academic when he is trying to knock your head around three ways to next week. As his brother Wang Xiaokuai said, the best way to get him to see sense is to beat it into him.

Dark Vessel
The serene story garden has been twisted into a dark caricature of a forest, complete with carnivorous plant life. The Dark Vessel was once the Lady of the Garden, before being turned to evil. However, being a creature of the Wood, she can still be dealt with appropriately.
Deep-Moon Valley
Ancient DestroyerDeeper into the Valley, the features of the land began to become more ominous, and its guardians rise from the earth itself in opposition of invaders. In the deepest place of the Valley is the Ancient Destroyer, a representation of the evil that tore the old world apart. It commands the earth of its domain, creating minions to attack interlopers. It has limitless resources and can continue to throw armies against attackers. Still, it is a creature of the Earth, with all inherent strengths and weaknesses.
Fixed-Moon Valley
Entry into Fixed-Moon Valley brought with it a reception committee. It was fortunate that we arrived together, or the ambush would have overwhelmed us before we could rally our forces. The commander of this place has trained his troops in strategy and tactics, and the sound of metal striking metal filled the air.
(There are three mobs close to the spawn point of Fixed-Moon. The party should arrive in sequence, with the tanks spawning before the casters, or the mobs will pick off the party one by one)
Murderous Trooper
An embodiment of the War of the Thousand Years, this psychopathic killer uses its Metal claws to strike hard, and strike fast. A cunning tactician, the Murderous Trooper shifts its method of attack, trying to catch the enemy off guard.
True-Moon Valley
Ghost Child
In the penultimate destination, the Ghost Child barred our path. The unborn essence merged with Pan Gu's will at the creation of the Perfect World given form. It was not the true mastermind of the plan to cut off the gods, but was still a very powerful enemy. The end of the road is close, and with it, the true source of the mysterious power.
Holy-Moon Valley
Defiler Pit Lord
Finally, the source of the mysterious power is revealed. This ancient evil (that makes the third Ancient Evil that has been lurking in the history of the Perfect World, but who's counting?) plans to sever the ties between the gods and the mortals of the land, allowing the powerful Soulless to destroy at will. We cannot allow it to succeed!
And so I walk down the Valley in the shadow of Death, and prepare for battle.

Cabal Online PH: New BOT/HACK Policy!
e-Games is implementing a new Policy against the use of bots and 3rd Party Programs. This is to ensure that CABAL remains a vibrant and dynamic virtual world with real people playing the game. This program is for players who have their accounts frozen due to violations of the CABAL anti-bot/hack policies.
e-Games does not intend to legalize the use of bots. Despite efforts to educate players why botting is illegal, people will still find ways to create and use these programs for CABAL.
The penalty system is designed to penalize players for the use of bot/hack programs. It is also designed to give offenders a chance to redeem themselves and do the right thing which is to play without using bots.
Please find the new bot/hack penalty and fine release table effective September 30, 2008.
Players must validate their mobile phone before they can avail of the Bot/Hack Penalty and Release service. Please be reminded that the system will automatically deduct the FINES from your e-Games Account. Rest assured that all those accused of violating the anti-bot/hack policies will be investigated. If found guilty, the accounts will be frozen until the player opts to pay the penalty or fines.
Should the blocked user have insufficient EP Balance to pay the penalty, the user can just TOP-UP the EP Amount required to pay the penalty or wait for the duration of the Penalty to expire.
First time offenders may either wait for the 30-day ban to end to have their account released or pay the fine of 20EP.
Second time offenders who are caught will be banned for 90 days. Or you could pay the hefty fee of 150EP to release your account.
Third and fourth time offenders will be banned permanently. Or you can chose to pay the 500EP and the 1000EP fines respectively to release your accounts.

The Legend of Holy-Moon Valley
The theological war between the gods caused a great cataclysm in the old world. In order to make amends and to find a new home for the people who suffered, the gods set aside their differences and created the new world between the human world and the heavens; the Perfect World.
With the cataclysm came a sharp decline in faith, and the gods were unable to retain their power. In order to regain their worshippers, the gods gathered in a secluded location - a gathering they dubbed ' The Accord of Enlightenment' .
Before they began the accord, each deity chose a mortal to serve as their avatar . These chosen ones known as the 'Divine Children' were given the task to spread the word on behalf of their patron.
While the legends of the Divine Ones were widespread, no one has actually seen them in person.
The Perfect World has undergone profound changes in the last 10,000 years. The Humans, Wingkin and Beastkin have united to fight against a common enemy -The Soulless- who have cast a dark shadow over the Perfect World. The passage of the Accord of Enlightenment went unnoticed during the turmoil, and the Divine Children vanished from memory.
The ancient histories credited the Divine Children with eternal life. They spent the long years in the Four Secret Lands, preparing for the return of the gods.
Thus, when the Soulless invaded, the mortal races have long forgotten the existence of the Divine Children, and faced the Soulless bereft of their help.
The Shattering of the Peace
One day, a mysterious man claiming to be one of the Divine Children appeared. He let it be known that the Accord of Enlightenment was nearing its completion, but a mysterious power has invaded the Secret Lands.
An ancient curse was levied during the creation of the Perfect World. With the decline of faith in the gods, so were the powers of the Divine Children reduced. The return of the gods has been placed in great peril.
The Divine Children are at a loss to find the source of this mysterious power. However, it is quite apparent that whoever is behind this power wants to prevent the return of the gods.
Should the Divine Children fail to return the gods to the Perfect World, the mortal races will face the impending threat alone, bereft of help.
And thus, the Divine Children place their hopes on the heroes of the Perfect World. With the unity of Divine guidance and Mortal ingenuity, the ancient curse may be broken.
The mysterious man has opened the pathway to one of the four Secret Lands, the fabled Holy-Moon Valley . Heroes have begun their journey to this land of legend, to discover the dangers that lurk within.
Unlocking Solo Mode
First, players must go to Arrow Villa and look for NPC Dugukhofsky (427, 457), and accept the quest. To complete the quest, players must form a party (at least 2 players) and enter Moon Valley in party mode in order to complete the quest. The quest monsters are in Witch-Moon Valley and Mysterious-Moon Valley .
After completing the objectives, players can return to Dugukhofsky in Arrow Villa to complete the quest in order to unlock Solo Mode. To quickly go to the entrance to Holy-Moon Valley , you can accept the quest from NPC Flying Sky in Arrow Village in order to teleport to Buddha's City, where the entrance to Holy-Moon Valley is located.

This boss is very powerful. Its skills mainly consist of fire which he uses to great effect against individuals. When the battle reaches its peak, he is also capable of releasing massive amounts of fire magic in the form of an area attack; with him at its center. Despite his apparent strength however, players must look out for his summoned minions.
At the beginning of each fight, the boss will summon a number of deadly exploding traps. It takes a while for them to explode after being summoned so there is some time to escape before being caught up in the explosion. Players must also look out for the boss's ability to reduce their movement speed -- last thing a player would want is slow reaction time just as a trap is about to explode.
Fixed-Moon Valley
This is a very devious boss; although he only boasts mediocre attack ability at the onset of any fight, he will continue to gather strength while casting spells that greatly reduce attack and spell casting speed of his opponents. However, once he has gathered enough strength, his attack methods change greatly. He can use his energy to increase his strength exponentially. Once he has expended his stored up energy he must once again gather strength to prepare for another round of vicious attacks. After a certain amount of time has passed, the boss may enter an extremely violent state that makes him nigh impossible to defeat. So players must take advantage of his weaker periods in order to defeat him before he becomes berserk.
True-Moon Valley
Don't be fooled by the simple appearance of this boss, he is one mean killing machine. Though he does not boast wide area skills, he has extremely deadly single-attack skills meant to kill most players in less than a minute. What makes this boss even more difficult is his blood lust -- once he sees players fall from his rampage, he will increase his attack power so that more will fall against his claws! Players must exercise care when dealing with him. One false move may spell their doom.

This boss is quite elusive when faced with multiple opponents. He will confuse them by making multiple copies of himself; which have far lesser HP and attack power than the original, however it makes killing him all the more difficult. Once all the clones have been killed, he can once again summon another army of clones to start the chaos once more. He does not have a particularly impressive attack power, but he has a few area attack skills that can kill off multiple weaker players if they're not careful.

Granado Espada PH: World Migration Announcement
Effective on 7 October 2008, Tuesday, the current five Granado Espada worlds, Cervantes, Caravaggio, Vivaldi, Carracci and Pachelbel will migrate into two worlds, Bach and Rembrandt.
This move will increase player population on both the Player Kill (PK) and Non-Player Kill (non-PK) servers, providing a more vibrant world for new and intermediate players and new challenges for established players and factions.
The three PK servers: Cervantes, Caravaggio and Vivaldi will migrate into the new world named Bach.
The two non-PK servers: Carracci and Pachelbel will migrate into the new world named Rembrandt.
As a result of the migration, the following will be enacted:
* Colony Maps will be reset.
* Market Tax will be reset.
* Market Tax will resume AFTER the conclusion of the first post-migration Colony War.
Also, all players are highly advised to take note of these points prior to the migration:
* Claim all items from Leonardo Expreso
* Remove all items in the Market Manager / Cabinet
* Refrain from activating time-based premium items

Philippine Game Journos Compete @ PC Gaming Showdown
MANILA, Philippines – In the end, there could be only one.
Several Filipino gaming journalists (including this writer) spent an afternoon to compete in the first Intel Asia PC Gaming Showdown here. This competition aims to draw out the best gamers among those who write games and the industry it has created.
Gaming and technology journalist John Nieves defeated other gaming journalists and was declared this year’s winner. He will be entered into an Asian draw.
Intel said the overall top-scoring three competitors in the tally will be flown to the “EA Experience,” an Electronic Arts branded venue that is located at The Peak Tower in Hong Kong, this October to compete for the championship.
This gaming competition is part of a regional event that includes other players from India, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam competing to qualify for the finals in Hong Kong, Intel Philippines Marketing Manager Jerome Matti said.
“As part of Intel’s ongoing commitment to the gaming industry, the Intel Asia PC Gaming Showdown will give those passionate about gaming — gaming media and gamers alike — the chance to experience today’s most exhilarating games in amazing detail, made possible by Intel Core 2 Extreme processors,” added Rupal Shah, Intel Marketing Director for Asia Pacific, in a statement.
Matti said the competition involves gaming journalists playing three popular PC games, namely Need for Speed Pro Street, Crysis and FIFA 2008.
“We are extremely excited about being a part of this event. As a leading games publisher and developer, this is the perfect platform to show off our best titles to the gaming media who review games on a daily basis,” added Jon Niermann, President of EA Asia Pacific, in a statement.
